Abby Rader presents at global summit

Abby Rader, a PhD student in the Department of Population Health Sciences and member of the Center for Health Measurement, presented at the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics (FAST) 2025 Global Science Summit on “ORCA and What Meaningful Change Looks Like from a Parent’s Perspective.” In her talk, Rader highlighted how the Observer-Reported Communication Ability (ORCA) measure can be used to capture caregiver perspectives on meaningful changes in their child’s communication and everyday functioning. The presentation generated strong interest from the Angelman community and other researchers in incorporating ORCA into future clinical and observational studies.
