June is Pride Month and it's a time for us to celebrate our LGBTQIA+ community and their many contributions, while also creating a safe space for people of every identity and orientation to feel safe, respected, and cared for. Here are the many ways to show your support and celebrate this month:
To show your pride you can purchase a pride t-shirt at one of the gift shops across our system.
Support local LGBTQIA+ businesses and groups like Out! Raleigh and Pride Durham.
Stand against discrimination and injustice and pledge to be self-aware and make equitable choices every day.
You can also celebrate Pride Month in the Triangle area by attending a number of events for the remainder of the month. Happy Pride month!
