Population Health Sciences master's student Ben Jammaine Ncube won the grand prize for graduate and professional student pitches at the Duke Innovation and Entrepreneurship Startup Showcase, for his startup, Men’s Health Clinic Zimbabwe, which provides health care services in a private, safe, and stigma-free environment.
Since launching a year ago, the clinic has treated more than 24,000 male patients and targeted 13,000 more through outreach programs in rural and urban areas. Now Ncube is preparing to launch the first telehealth platform specifically for men in Africa. Read more on Duke Today.
