Dr. Courtney Van Houtven spoke at the roundtable Quality of Care for People with Serious Illness, specifically the section on Providing Supportive Services - Exploring the Key Role and Unique Needs of Caregivers. Speakers took questions in real-time on such topics as the role of family caregivers in providing social supports and services, and caregiver needs (ie. emotional, financial, and training), and the gaps in and barriers to the delivery of integrated services.
