Dr. Corinna Sorenson Receives Bass Connections Grant

Dr. Corinna Sorenson (PI) along with Drs. Gillian Sanders and Courtney Van Houtven received a Bass Connections grant for their project “Transforming Alzheimer’s Disease Care Through Integrating Caregivers”. The project aims to explore strategies to improve integration of caregivers in clinical care decision-making in Alzheimer’s care, with a particular emphasis on enhancing their role in data collection on treatment experiences and outcomes. Following the ethos of Bass Connections, the project will bring together faculty and students across different learner levels at Duke and external collaborators and stakeholders to collaborate and cross-learn from each other to achieve the project aims and, ultimately, to help inform advances in clinical practices, outcome measurement, and payment and delivery reforms to transform Alzheimer's care.
