Ms. McMullen is a Program Director in the Department of Population Health Sciences. Working with the Vice Chairs of Research, Faculty Development, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, along with the department’s Managing Director, she coordinates leadership initiatives, facilitates department-wide events and workshops, coordinates grant reviews, assists with implementing DEI committee end products, and is the department's staff resource person (an unofficial ombuds role). She also oversees the administrative activities of the Duke GME Professional Development Coaching Program and collaborates with the program leadership and department liaisons on strategic program development.

Originally from Roanoke, VA,  Ms. McMullan began her career in community health education before transitioning into the academic medical school setting after receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science & Community Health Education at Radford University.
