Dave Press, PhD, MPhil, is the Senior Research Program Leader for the Research to Eliminate Global Cancer Disparities (REGAL) program, where he supports the development, implementation, and oversight of the team’s research portfolio focused on addressing cancer disparities. As a highly skilled population health scientist, Dr. Press has extensive research experience, including roles as Principal Data Scientist at Genentech/Roche and an Epidemiologist at the Greater Bay Area SEER Cancer Registry. His work has focused on cancer health equity and inclusive research, resulting in numerous publications and presentations. He is proficient in statistical and epidemiological analysis, spatial data science, and regulatory biostatistics and study design.
Dr. Press holds advanced degrees from the University of Chicago and the University of Cambridge.
