Postdoctoral Associate
Dr. Quezada is a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Population Health Sciences – Cancer Disparities. He completed his medical studies and a specialization in Health Administration at Univesidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos in Peru and his Master and PhD in clinical epidemiology at Erasmus University Rotterdam in The Netherlands. Prior to joining Duke, he worked as a scientific researcher at University of Bern in Switzerland where he investigates the role of iron deficiency and iron overload on cardiovascular and respiratory health. His current research focused on cancer epidemiology, health disparities in the US context, social determinants of health and big data analytics.
