PhD Student
Prior to attending Duke for her MS in Pop Health, Isa was a health educator in Moore County, NC teaching EBIs to prevent chronic disease through behavior changes. Before that, she graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a BS in Psychology and Global Studies, minoring in History. Isa's experiences working directly with rural and minoritized populations in NC in health promotion and disease prevention have fueled her desire to pursue a PhD in Population Health Sciences. Outside of class, she enjoys swimming, going to the Eno River, spending time with friends, and working on home improvement projects.
