January obtained her Bachelors of Arts in Collaborative Health and Human Services from California State University, Monterey Bay and a Masters of Public Health in Behavioral Sciences and Health Education from Emory University at the Rollins School of Public Health. She is interested in Population Health Sciences because she wants to conduct health services research and aim to improve health measurement for minorities and culturally diverse populations. In her free time, January enjoys traveling, hiking, trying new foods and restaurants, and playing her Nintendo Switch.
