Jessica serves as the Program Coordinator for the Department of Population Health Sciences Education Team. She began her career with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition, working in public health as a Nutrition Educator for the Women, Infants & Children (WIC) Program in Central Florida. During this time, she also completed a Master’s degree in Human Nutrition, deepening her understanding of the complex factors that shape health and well-being.

Over nearly a decade in public health, Jessica supported families through education and counseling, promoting evidence-based practices to improve nutrition and community health outcomes. Her experience working directly with communities continues to inform her approach in higher education—emphasizing empathy, accessibility, and meaningful support for students as they pursue their academic and professional goals.

At Duke, Jessica plays a key role in coordinating academic programs within the Department of Population Health Sciences. She works closely with students, faculty, and staff to ensure a supportive, well-organized, and enriching educational experience—continuing her commitment to helping others learn, grow, and succeed.
