
Dr. Pritchard is a Research Project Leader II in the Department of Population
Health Sciences. She oversees research project operations and finances,
facilitates the acquisition of data assets, and develops infrastructure and
resources to meet programmatic needs. Dr. Pritchard coordinates projects using
Medicare, national Medicaid, North Carolina Medicaid, clinical trial, and
proprietary data. As DataShare’s NC Medicaid liaison, she engages both the North
Carolina Department of Health and Human Services and study teams to ensure
compliance and works closely with stakeholders to identify and address needs.
Previously, Dr. Pritchard served as a Clinical Research Coordinator in the
University of Virginia Department of Pediatrics, Hematology and Oncology
Division. There, she managed the operational, regulatory, data, and financial
activities of several clinical trials and an expanded access study. She has
extensive experience providing operational and financial management support to
industry-sponsored, federally-funded, and investigator-initiated clinical trials
and retrospective research.
Dr. Pritchard's expertise includes technical writing, experimental design, data
interpretation, budget development, project oversight, multi-site coordination,
and contract review and negotiation. She earned her PhD in molecular cancer
biology from the University of Virginia.
