Research Program Leader II

Dr. Pritchard is a Research Project Leader II within the Department of Population Health Sciences, where she oversees research project operations and finances, and facilitates the acquisition of data assets. Her projects include research using electronic medical record and Medicare data. She was previously a Clinical Research Coordinator in the Department of Pediatrics, Hematology and Oncology Division, at the University of Virginia. There she managed the operational, regulatory, data, and financial activities of several clinical trials and an expanded access study. She has experience providing operational and financial management support to industry-sponsored, federally-funded, and investigator-initiated research studies, and is knowledgeable about conducting research in pediatric populations.

Dr. Pritchard has expertise in technical writing, experimental design, data interpretation, budget development, and project oversight. She earned her PhD from the University of Virginia in cancer and molecular biology.
