Leah L. Zullig, Ph.D., is a health services researcher and implementation scientist. She is a Professor in the Duke Department of Population Health Sciences and an investigator with the Center of Innovation to Accelerate Discovery and Practice Transformation (ADAPT) at the Durham Veterans Affairs Health Care System. Dr. Zullig is a co-leader of Cancer Prevention and Control at the Duke Cancer Institute, Director of Research for the Duke Center for Onco-Primary Care, Deputy Director of a VA postdoctoral program, and Director of the Duke Department of Population Health Sciences Implementation Science Research Collaborative (INTERACT).
Dr. Zullig’s overarching research interests address the reduction of healthcare disparities, improving cancer care delivery and quality, and promoting cancer survivorship and chronic disease self-management. Dr. Zullig has maintained independent funding for over a decade with support from NIH, VA, PCORI, and others. She has authored nearly 200 peer-reviewed publications.
