Ms. Zepel is a biostatistician on the PopHealth DataShare analytics team. Her expertise is in the statistical analysis, data management, and SAS programming of health-related datasets—including electronic health records, patient-reported data, cohort studies, and clinical registries. Most recently, she worked as a statistical programmer where she created analytical datasets from disparate data sources, performed data validation, and programmed data displays in support of clinical drug trials. Prior to that, she was a biostatistician at a health outcomes research organization doing statistical analyses studying treatment variation and identifying practices associated with the best outcomes for hemodialysis and chronic kidney disease patients. Ms. Zepel has co-authored numerous abstracts presented at international and national scientific meetings and co-authored manuscripts accepted for publication in the American Journal of Kidney Diseases.
Ms. Zepel received her BS in Statistics and Decision Science from Carnegie Mellon University and her MS in Biostatistics from the University of Michigan.
