Sofia Pozsonyiova is a Biostatistician II in the Department of Population Health Sciences, supporting the DataShare Analytics team. Her research interests and expertise focus on predictive modeling methods and their application to health outcomes research. Sofia is a published author and presenter who has collaborated on a diverse range of projects, including alcohol use disorders, psychiatric pharmacogenomics, infectious diseases, social determinants of health, and health literacy. Her ultimate goal is to leverage novel statistical methodologies and creative problem-solving to make a tangible impact on patient care.
Sofia holds a BA in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from Macalester College and an MB in Biostatistics from Duke University.
