PhD Student
As a researcher in training, Tina completed her Master of Public Health and Bachelor in Integrated Science at the University of British Columbia. She is passionate about combating health inequalities through effective knowledge translation between research and implementation. With her experiences in culturally-relevant healthcare at institutions including the Stanford Centre of Asian Health Research and Education, Tina has dedicated her research and policy career to understanding how social determinants of health influence health status and how she can promote effective change on a systematic level. Besides research, she plays electric guitar and enjoys jazz music!
