Ms. McFatrich is the Administrative Director of the Center for Health Measurement in the Department of Population Health Sciences. She has extensive experience coordinating public health research in a variety of intervention and measurement-validation research settings. Her work has focused on study protocol development, quantitative and qualitative survey development, data management, and interviewing diverse study populations. Ms. McFatrich also specializes in conducting cognitive interviews for developing patient-reported outcomes, and in using a range of qualitative methodologies, including conducting concept elicitation interviews, utilizing photovoice, and leading focus group discussions. Her portfolio includes studies related to adolescent sexual health, intimate partner violence prevention, HIV medication adherence, reproductive health, and the development and validation of patient-reported outcomes (PROs). Recently, she managed the longitudinal validation of the Pediatric PRO-CTCAE measure. Her research interests include PROs within pediatric and young adult populations, as well as translating research into practice.

Ms. McFatrich received her MPH in health behavior from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
