Tingxuan (Audrey) Zhang is a masters candidate in Population Health Sciences at Duke University, with a focus on patient-centered outcomes and quality of care for aging populations. Her research centers on improving care delivery and decision-making for older adults, particularly those with kidney diseases and cancer.

Her academic and professional experiences span health systems research, public health initiatives, and policy advocacy. She has developed expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods, applying these skills to integrate electronic patient-reported outcomes into care delivery, to enhance symptom management for older dialysis patients. Additionally, she has contributed to optimizing shared decision-making tools for pain management in advanced CKD.

Her dedication to the aging population extends beyond research. Previously, Tingxuan led vaccine uptake initiatives in multi-ethnic regions of China and worked on a Duke Bass Connections project addressing aging-specific concerns in older cancer survivors.

Tingxuan aspires to drive sustainable and equitable innovations that empower aging populations. She is passionate about translating research into actionable solutions that address the complexities of aging societies.
