  • The deadline to apply for this fully-funded scholarship has closed. Please check back in early 2023 for the new application date.
  • Recipients will be determined by a departmental committee made up of DEI-trained faculty (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion).
  • Scholarship recipients will be given a discount code to use when registering.
  • Those who do not receive a scholarship are welcome to register for the 2022 Summer Institute as paid attendees at the discounted student pricing.

Who’s Eligible?

Full-time undergraduate minority-identifying students or recent graduates (within 3 years of receiving their bachelor’s degree) that come from a background that is underrepresented in graduate study. Applicants should have a demonstrated and sustained commitment to diversity through their professional experience, volunteer engagement, or leadership of student or community organizations. A commitment to diversity may include efforts to reduce health; social; educational; or economic disparities based on race, ethnicity, or gender.
